National Response Framework, National Response Protocol and National Catholic Safeguarding Standards 2nd Ed

 

The Council affirmed that unanimous support from AMPJP’s Members was required for AMPJP to vote that ACSL adopt the National Response Framework, National Response Protocol and National Catholic Safeguarding Standards 2nd Ed

 

ACBC-AMPJP Accord

 

The Council noted the publication of the media release regarding the signing of the ACBC-AMPJP Accord. It was mentioned favourable comments had been received about the development and content of the Accord

 

AMPJP Dinner and Forum 2022

 

The Council noted progress in preparing the AMPJP AGM Dinner 21 August 2022 and Forum 22 August 2022 in Brisbane.

 

It was agreed that two meetings will take place on 21 August 2022 between 4.00-5.30pm

  1. MPJPs who sponsor Health-Aged ministries
  2. MPJPs who sponsor Education ministries

 

Preparation of animations on MPJPs and AMPJP

AMPJP Executive Officer is working with a company to develop a script/storyboard for two animations – one on MPJPs and one on AMPJP.

 

MPJP Stewards Wisdom Circle in Perth

The Council received a favourable report on the Wisdom Circle for MPJP Stewards held in Perth.

  • The Council noted progress on the draft document “Our Common Mission: Code of Safety”
  • The Council noted the CORMSAA report.
  • The Council noted the AMPJP Canonical Stewards Formation Committee report.
  • The Council noted reports from AMPJP Nominees to External Committees.
  • The Council noted the Executive Officer’s Report.
  • The Council noted the AMPJP Financial Reports and Correspondence Report
