AMPJP presentation to CRA

29 November 2021 by

AMPJP has an ongoing relationship with Catholic Religious Australia (CRA) that is based on our common interests and shared mission as peak bodies for Church Authorities.

On 25 Nov 2021, three AMPJP personnel addressed the CRA National Assembly updating them on the work of AMPJP and its members.

  • Eva Skira AM spoke about the AMPJP history, mission, priorities and gave an overview of MPJPs and their ministries.
  • Phil Billington spoke about the Committee Of Religious Institute and Ministerial PJP School Authorities Australia (CORMSAA). While CORMSAA is auspiced by AMPJP, it operates in a collaborative manner – ensuring equal representation of Religious Institutes.
  • Lawrie Hallinan spoke about the AMPJPs Formation Framework for MPJP Canonical Stewards and the work of the recently formed AMPJP Canonical Stewards Formation Committee.
