Applications open for AMPJP Formation Committee
People with expertise and passion for formation are invited to apply for membership of the AMPJP Formation Committee.
Eva Skira AMPJP Council Chair:
We are keen that some of the Committee members are drawn from outside MPJPs. The perspective of the wider Church will be a valuable addition to this committee.
The AMPJP Formation Committee will be instrumental in planning, but not necessarily delivering, formation activities consistent with the AMPJP’s Formation Framework for MPJP Canonical Stewards.
The Formation Committee will probably meet for 1-2 hours, six times each year. Most meetings will be via videoconference. Once or twice a year, the Committee will meet in person (AMPJP will cover the transport and accommodation costs). AMPJP is not in a position to pay people for their time as a member of the Committee.
Formation Committee members will be drawn from:
- MPJPs – Canonical Stewards/Trustees; Mission Directors; and others within MPJPs with relevant competencies, and
- Other individuals with relevant skills and experience.

We know that there are experienced people in the Church who would love to work with us to assist current and future lay people who live their Baptismal call in roles of MPJP governance.
