Plenary Council Participation

30 September 2021 by

The 278 Members of the Plenary Council include two people who also have current MPJP roles.

The Eva Skira AM (above) is a Member of the Plenary Council after securing the AMPJP nomination. The AMPJP was offered one place at the Plenary Council. This was appreciated given that Canon law does not list Ministerial PJPs as either a compulsory or optional category of invitee to a Plenary Council.

Loretta Conroy rsm, a Canonical Steward with Catholic Healthcare, is also a Plenary Council Member. Loretto is a Member by virtue of her role as Leader of the Sisters of Mercy (North Sydney).

There are five ways that others can have a sense of participation:

  2. Each day, the Masses, can be viewed on the Plenary Council website, the Plenary Council’s Facebook page or direct from the Plenary Council’s YouTube channel.
