INTRODUCTION TO MISSION with Patrick Fox

In partnership with Catholic Mission Australia, our Introduction to Mission short course explores the Missionary nature of the Church.  It is mission which creates Church, and the Church is at the service of the mission.  This short course of eight sessions is for all those who want to explore the breadth and depth of their personal and professional life lived as mission, aligning that with God’s dream for all creation.

It is ideal for groups and workplaces seeking to work within a common framework of Catholic mission.

Participants are introduced to a biblically informed Catholic understanding of the Mission of the Church, which informs the key points of the contemporary expression of the Mission of the Church.  The closing modules apply this mission lens to contemporary issues and challenges.

The course consists of eight online sessions which include video presentations, readings, and online discussion, as well as optional extension resources.  A digital certificate is provided upon successful completion of the written learning tasks.

The short course is offered twice each year.  The eight week program is organized into two blocks of four weeks each, punctuated with a week break in between each set.

First Offering: March 17

Second Offering: August 4
