Safeguarding the Flock: The response to the Sex Abuse Crisis

Every missionary disciple is entrusted with the work of safeguarding the flock as we journey further into the 21st century. Safeguarding involves a candid rebuke of prior mishandlings of sexual abuse.  It also involves an honest and mature reflection on the path ahead.  This path is a synodal journey, wherein every taint of clericalism is destroyed, wherein the giftedness of everyone is welcomed, and wherein the mission of each is applauded.
