AMPJP Executive Officer’s report on December 2021
Two AMPJP meetings dominated December 2021.
On 09 Dec 2021, the AMPJP’s MPJP Canonical Stewards Formation Committee met via videoconference. This was the second meeting of this committee and they engaged in the task of articulating the elements of their three-year plan of formation activities. The committee will work on the draft version via email until their next meeting on 10th Feb 2022. It is hoped that this meeting will approve a draft for consultation with AMPJP and MPJPs.
On 14th Dec 2021, the AMPJP Council met via videoconference. A summary of this meeting is available on the AMPJP website.
When the Song of the Angels Is Stilled
When the song of the angels is stilled,
When the star in the sky is gone,
When the kings and the princes are home,
When the shepherds are back with their flocks,
The work of Christmas begins:
To find the lost,
To heal the broken,
To feed the hungry,
To release the prisoner,
To rebuild the nations,
To bring peace among people,
To make music in the heart.
