When it comes to governance, the standards required of Catholic boards, trusts, councils and their directors, trustees, members and executives are identical, if not greater, than their corporate and public counterparts.
Why greater? Because in an era where corporate leaders are expected to deliver strong governance outcomes such as fostering a socially responsible culture, providing appropriate risk and reputation management, and ensuring financial sustainability – Catholic leaders have the added responsibility of delivering success in identity, mission and evangelisation.
There is no doubt that both of these programs represent a giant leap forward in the teaching of corporate governance theory and practice to leaders of Catholic organisations. We are certain that the programs will quickly become the ‘must have’ leadership qualification, particularly as the Church responds to Royal Commission recommendations for greater transparency, accountability and reform in its organisations.
The courses offered by Australian Institute of Company Directors, delivered in partnership with BBI-TAITE, will equip you to govern your Catholic organisation with certainty.
