Cardijn Associates USA and the Australian Cardijn Institute are honoured to host Nate Tinner-Williams, co-founder and editor of the Black Catholic Messenger, for a webinar on “Being a Synodal Missionary Church” to be held on Saturday 28 September, 2024 at 7.30am AEST.
Nate will be travelling to Rome to report on the Second Assembly of the Synod on Synodality, which will take place during the month of October 2024. In this webinar, he will share his hopes and expectations for the event.
Yes, it will also be the morning of AFL Grand Final Day, an important cultural and sporting event for so many of us.
There are many who consider the Synod itself as perhaps the most important religious meeting of the Church since Vatican II.
In any case, our webinar is timed so that you won’t have to sacrifice one event for the other, albeit an early start for our friends in Perth!
