Building Bridges of Hope: A Symposium with Massimo Faggioli
April 22 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm$20
“Let us dream, then, as a single human family, as fellow travelers sharing the same flesh, as children of the same earth which is our common home, each of us bringing the richness of his or her beliefs and convictions, each of us with his or her own voice, brothers and sisters all.” Fratelli Tutti #8
Bring your own heart and voice to listen and dialogue together with Massimo where he will reflect on his latest publication titled The Liminal Papacy of Pope Francis: Moving Toward a Global Catholicity.
Massimo will also refer to Pope Francis’ latest Encyclical Fratelli Tutti, especially in the context of the Australian Church, with a view to the first Plenary Council session in October this year.
Massimo Faggioli is a world-renowned theologian and Professor of Historical Theology at Villanova University in Pennsylvania USA, as well as Conjoint Professor BBI-TAITE. Massimo has published many books on Church history, particularly The Second Vatican Council and his latest publication is titled The Liminal Papacy of Pope Francis: Moving Toward a Global Catholicity.
Please join us for this interactive session which will begin with Massimo’s reflections, an opportunity for breakout rooms to share with each other, followed by a Q & A and closing remarks.
