Catholic Health Australia National Conference
August 22, 2022 - August 24, 2022
The Catholic Health Australia National Conference 2022 will be held in Brisbane.
The conference theme is “Facing the Future Together” and will bring together leaders in the field to discuss what they have learned over the past year and assess the challenges that lie ahead, such as the sector’s resilience, the future of private health, the future of patient care and reform of the aged care sector in the wake of the royal commission.
Key speakers already confirmed, including the following:
- Former New South Wales premier Mike Baird has been confirmed as a speaker at this year’s Catholic Health Australia national conference, scheduled for August in Brisbane. He is chief executive of HammondCare, an independent Christian charity and will be a keynote speaker on the subject of “Dimensions of Future Care: Patient Experience, Leadership and Innovation”.
- Lucy O’Flaherty, the chief executive of Glenview Community Services, the Tasmanian aged care provider behind the development of a self-contained village for people with dementia, will also talk on the same topic.
- Former Prime Minister John Howard who will be in conversation with SVHA Chair Paul McClintock; and
- WA Deputy Premier and Health Minister Roger Cook giving us his prognosis on the future of national health care reform.
There will also be breakout sessions on health, aged care and mission.
The conference social events, the Welcome Reception and the Conference Dinner will provide a much-needed opportunity for you to catch up with colleagues and friends.
