Celtic Spirituality Pilgrimage

July 22, 2019 - August 1, 2019

Let the celtic landscape speak to you

Experience the beauty of the ancient landscape of Ireland, touch its sacredness and stand in its richness and solitude; be present, mindful, open, attentive…

Walk in the footsteps of the Celtic mystics and saints and allow their spirit of courage and trust give you strength and healing.
Hear the stories that shaped their lives and journeys. Listen to the music and songs that moved them to dream, fired their passionate longings and brought them to stillness. Imagine and reflect by megalithic tombs and high crosses where they found meaning, comfort and peace. Be silent on the sacred pathways that will give you space to awaken to the dreams and longings of your own heart. Enjoy relaxing times by the fire with a ‘drop of cheer’ as well as special evenings in the company of local musicians, singers, dancers and storytellers.

Hilary Musgrave and Monica Brown will facilitate this 10 day pilgrimage that will take you to Glendalough, Newgrange, The Boyne Valley, The Hill of Slane, Jerpoint Abbey, St Brigid’s Centre Kildare Town, Kilkenny City and County Carlow, visiting ancient ruins and old burial sites, high crosses, holy wells, medieval cities and sacred places. Through music, song, story and myth, imagery and scripture –  storytelling, Hilary and Monica will invite you to listen to your own story in this Celtic Landscape where you can come home to yourself and to your God.

Accompanying us on the journey through the Celtic Landscape will be Irish story tellers, Celtic singers, historians and Irish dancers.
Mary Minihan – Solas Bhride, Kildare,
Mary Teresa McCormack – Iontas, Co Tipperary,
Niamh Brennan – writer, Co Waterford,
Tony O’Dwyer – Co Wexford,
Stefan – Co Tipperary.
