Church Authorities Training Day in Professional Standards

Royal Commission Final Report recommended (§16.36)
“that each religious institution in Australia ensure that its religious leaders are provided with leadership training, both before and after their appointment, including in the promotion of child safety.”
This workshop is designed to be one element of such a training program.
Bishops and Leaders of Religious Institutes and Ministerial Public Juridic Persons, in particular those new to the role or those looking to refresh their knowledge of the Towards Healing Process especially the processes for management of complaints. There will also be discussion of the promotion of child safety.
