Decoding the Code is an online program in Catholic ethics for the health and aged care sector run annually in partnership with Catholic Health Australia.
An online ethics course designed for the health and aged care sectors.
The course is constituted by an online recorded intro session, followed by seven online sessions. These latter include a video presentation, reading, and online discussion, as well as optional extension resources. The course begins by establishing the groundwork for the Catholic Ethical Vision (sessions 1-4) and then looks to some of the concrete and practical outcomes of this vision in the context of healthcare (sessions 5-7) before allowing participants to reflect on the implications of the course for their own professional context in the concluding session (session 8).
