This four-week lecture series offers parish leaders and all those interested in exploring what Christian leadership looks and feels like in the context of 21st-century Australia. This year’s series will be focused on scripture, offering participants a survey of key books, themes and figures from our biblical tradition. Guided by some of the country’s leading biblical scholars, participants will explore a range of topics from creation through to the prophetic movement, the Lukan narrative and key figures in the formation of the early church-all of which offer us much wisdom and insight for the formation of modern Christian disciples and communities.
Teachers / Accreditation Coordinators / School Leaders please note: This course, like many of our other professional development offerings, will accrue accreditation hours with the CEM.
