Online consultation regarding Synod on Synodality

The AMPJP conducted two online consultations to reflect upon the Synod on Synodality Document for the Continental Stage

A summary of the points raised in this consultation was submitted to the National Centre for Pastoral Research to feed into the Continental Stage of the XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops in October 2023 “For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation and Mission”.

In the spirit of synodality, the consultations were advertised beyond MPJPs which led to diverse perspectives. The first consultation was attend by four people – three from AMPJP/MPJPs  and a parishioner from Queensland. The second consultation (24 Nov 2022) had six participants – five from AMPJP/MPJPs and a parishioner from South Australia.
