AMPJP AGM and Forum Rescheduled
The COVID-19 restrictions across many States mean that we need to reschedule the AMPJP AGM and the AMPJP Canonical Stewards Forum.
We apologise for the inconvenience and for the disappointment that many will feel at not being able to gather in-person.
The new arrangements are:
Tuesday 10 Aug 2021 AMPJP AGM will be via videoconference following a regular AMPJP Council meeting and only open to the one appointed Member Representative from each MPJP (AGM formalities will be addressed in this videoconference and an open meeting is offered on the 23 Aug 2021 to enable discussion with AMPJP Members)
Monday 23 Aug 2021 Three of the planned Forum sessions will take place via videoconference (open to all):
- 11.00am-12noon – Leadership in a Synodal Church: Dr Anne Benjamin and Charles Burford (co-authors of the 2021 book: Leadership in a Synodal Church) with breakout room discussion)
- 1.00-2.00pm – Presentation on MPJPs and Australian Catholic Safeguarding Ltd by ACSL Board and Executive
- 3.00-4.00pm – AMPJP report to Members and discussion of priorities to introduce the Council, report on the past year and discuss the AMPJP priorities for 2021-2022.
Sunday 20 March 2022 – 6.00-9.30pm AMPJP Dinner at Hilton Brisbane – open to Canonical Stewards of all AMPJP
Monday 21 March 2022 – 8.30am-4.00pm AMPJP Forum for MPJP Canonical Stewards/Trustees at Hilton Brisbane (the Catholic Health Australia Conference begins after the AMPJP Forum)
