AMPJP Executive Officer’s report on March 2023

March 2023 was a meeting marathon at AMPJP.

The month started with a videoconference meeting of MPJP Executive Officers. Eight people attended out of a possible total of 12. Each person shared their current issues and there was much mutual support and sharing of resources.

There were then face-to-face extended meetings of CORMSAA; CRA Council, AMPJP Council with MPJP representatives; and the AMPJP Canonical Stewards Formation Committee. Two of these were the first face-to-face meetings of particular groups ((1) CRA Council and AMPJP Council and (2) AMPJP Canonical Stewards Formation Committee).

There is considerable expense of time and money in getting people from across the country to meet in the same place but all agreed that face-to-face meetings create the environment for team building, mutual understanding and goodwill. This relational foundation enables all the other emails and online meetings to work effectively. The extended time given to these meetings and the dynamics of being in the same room enable us to work through more complex issues.

After the meetings, there is much follow-up for this busy Executive Officer.

The entire material universe speaks of God’s love, his boundless affection for us.
